Guided Tours of Fort Pulaski National Monument 

Monday through Friday 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM
Saturday 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM

Through the tour, visitors will see one of the nation’s finest examples of a seacoast fort, while learning about the construction and engineering of Fort Pulaski, Civil War technology, rifled cannons, general fort life, and the Battle for Fort Pulaski in 1862. Tours meet inside the fort and usually last 45 minutes.

Fort Pulaski National Monument offers visitors the chance to experience many interesting and exciting activities year-round.

Fort Pulaski National Monument is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Park hours may vary during the summer. Fort Pulaski National Monument is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

We are located in the Historic District of Savannah, Georgia on beautiful Monterey Square (Bull Street on the corners of Gordon and Wayne.)  

We have tours of our historic sanctuary and museum during the week from 10 am through 1 pm and again from 2 pm through 4 pm (last tour given 30 minute before end of session.)  We are closed on Jewish holidays and some federal holidays, you can check our website calendar or if you are still in doubt about a date, double check with us.  (We would not want you to be disappointed!)

Touring our facility usually takes between thirty to forty-five minutes, but you may wish to allow extra time for our Judaica Shop.  We charge an admission fee of $$5 per person, which is a real bargain.

The Savannah Historic District's most popular ghost tour for 12 years. Age appropriate stories for the Girl Scout Tours. The Creepy Stroll lasts approximately one and a half hours. Each tour is conducted by an experienced, licensed professional guide. The tour costs $$8 for Girl Scouts with a patch included, and $$10per adult.(fare does not include gratuity).

   Sponsored by the Moon River Chorus of Savannah, all area ladies who enjoy singing are invited to participate in an 8 week FREE seminar.

    Not only will this be an introduction to a cappella, four-part barbershop harmony for women, but it will give you the opportunity to sing in a special program at the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum on Armed Forces Day (May 15).

     No matter what voice range you have, there is a part for you, singing the melody or blending your voice in one of the three harmony parts.  It is a truly American art-form and one that is enjoyed internationally by thousands of ladies.

   Music will be provided to participants at no charge.  Numbers will include:  'When Johnny Comes Marching Home', 'God Bless America', 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic', etc.

   The seminar begins March 18 and runs on consecutive Thursdays through May 13 from 6:30 to 8:30.  The location is in the social hall of the Whitefield United Methodist Church at the corner of 55th Street and Waters Avenue in Savannah.
